Our Committees
Live Healthy’s advisory committees are where much of the work for this groundbreaking collaborative effort happens.
Each priority area has its own committee made up of local experts, service providers, partners, and community members. These groups dig into the data, share lived experience, provide deep local context and essential perspective, ask hard questions, and help translate information into action.
Committees look at what the data is telling us, what’s already happening in the community, where gaps exist, and where new or deeper collaboration could make the biggest difference. Over time, they help surface opportunities, shape recommendations, attract partners and resources, and guide strategies that are rooted in local needs and strengths.
While each committee may function a little differently, they share a common goal: turning insight into impact — together.
Access to Care
The Access to Care Advisory Committee focuses on barriers that prevent people from getting the care they need — from transportation and provider shortages to insurance coverage and systems navigation. This group examines access-related data, listens to community experience, and explores solutions that improve how, where, and when people connect to care across the community.

Behavioral Health

The committee examines data alongside lived experience to identify approaches that reduce stigma, expand access to support, and strengthen the systems that help people live healthier, more stable lives.

Chronic Health Conditions
The Chronic Conditions Advisory Committee focuses on conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and other long-term health challenges. The committee looks at trends, disparities, and contributing factors, and explores strategies that support prevention, early intervention, disease management, and healthier daily living, including healthy eating and active living resources, programs, and investments.

Resilient Children & Families
The Resilient Children & Families Advisory Committee centers on the factors that help families thrive — from early childhood development and education to housing stability, food access, and family support systems. This group looks at data and community insights to understand where families face challenges and where targeted, coordinated efforts can build resilience across generations.
