The South Carolina Prostate Cancer Screening Program for African American Men (SC AMEN Program) is an innovative approach from MUSC Hollings Cancer Center to address prostate cancer disparities. Our I-hour dynamic training sessions are free and will increase your knowledge about prostate cancer.

The MOVENUP Program is a research project at the MUSC Hollings Cancer Center. This cancer education program uses a "Train the Trainer" approach to improve cancer knowledge and awareness across South Carolina. Participants will undergo a dynamic, 4.5-hour training seminar that will prepare them to serve as ambassadors in their communities about cancer prevention, screenings and treatment. A pre-test will be given before the training and a post-test will be given after the training. Compensation is provided and participants will also receive teaching materials at no cost to them.
